Suggestions for Parents of Kids with Misophonia
You can read how I conceptualize and recommend addressing misophonia in the article found here. You are welcome to share this with other providers. As noted in the article, there aren’t near enough “misophonia specialists” for everyone with misophonia to work with one of these people. But there are a lot of therapists trained in addressing the things that are commonly “fueling” misophonia. In the article, I provide more detailed suggestions on what to look for in a therapist.
